These are sample configurations by customers. Please review. Framing can be as little or as fancy as your budget allows. For example, in some of the photos below the frames were purchased for five dollars (11 by 14). In other cases, custom frame sold by the foot cost over $100 when completed.
Be creative. If the image you are purchasing is dark, then a white/grey matting with black enamel painted frame would look good. If the image is a winter scene, then perhaps no matting is necessary, assuming walls are white or off white.
Lighting can make or break the display. In high end galleries, take a look at the ceiling. Note the number of lights used to adequately display what hangs on the wall. The purpose is to make enough of an impression to get you to purchase. You will need similar lighting at the office to produce the same effect. Also a dimmer is essential. Art lighting appropriate mid day may be too much for evening or winter.
Consider a theme grouping. That is, seasons of the same location, a location from various vantages, a location with various lighting. Or vary location within the theme of a season or time of day.
